The only rolling tool cabinet system designed for Medium and Heavy-Duty Electric Vehicles. Filled with quality Made in the USA insulated tools, tested to 1000VAC / 1500VDC, and paired among 21 drawers with nearly all the arc flash rated equipment needed to ensure that maintaining fleets of electrical vehicles is done not only well but maintains focus on safety and efficiency. The cabinet features Class I steel, double wall construction, positive latching drawer retention, 75-pound full extension ball bearing slides, and 330-pound capacity casters.
Class 00 — 500 / 750. Class 0 — 1,000 / 1,500. Class 1 — 7,500 / 11,250. Class 2 — 17,000 / 25,500. Class 3 — 26,500 / 39,750. Class 4 — 36,000 / 54,000. All insulating rubber gloves meet or exceed ASTM D120 and IEC EN60903 standards.
Blankets, covers, and line hose: before first issue; every 12 months thereafter. Gloves: before first issue; every 6 months thereafter. If insulating value is suspect, test again. Cementex offers CPT-GLV glove testing and CPT-BLK blanket testing. Cementex is an Accredited Member of the Association of North American Independent Laboratories for Protective Equipment Testing.
Cementex Feature Series provides Category 2 Arc Flash Protection with 12 cal/cm2 ATPV rating. It uses Westex Ultra Soft FR Treated Cotton, FR Velcro front closures, Nomex wrist cuffs, and is available in sizes S-5X with a standard inseam of 32 inches. Kits include coat, lab coat, long coat, parka, bib/pant, coverall, leggings, face shield, hard hat, balaclava hood, safety glasses, ear canal inserts, and optional insulating rubber glove kit.
Composite Driver Tools eliminate 95% of all conductive material and utilize cutting edge technology. They are strong, lightweight, durable, and feature Cementex insulating material rated 1000V AC / 1500V DC.
Cementex offers a Limited Lifetime Mechanical Warranty. Insulation is guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship for two years from the shipment date and is guaranteed to pass a 10,000 VAC proof test. Cuts, cracks, or other damage caused by usage of the tool is not covered. Torque wrench repairs are covered while the torque wrench is within its annual calibration timeframe.
Cementex recommends using insulated tools or handling equipment when working inside the restricted approach boundary of exposed energized electrical conductors or circuit parts where tools or handling equipment might make accidental contact. For 151V-750V AC, the Limited Approach Boundary is 3'6" and the Restricted Approach is 12".
The body rescue hook is an invaluable tool for any workplace used to withdraw an injured worker out of a hazardous area, such as confined spaces, in vaults, near switch gear or electrical cabinets and many other industrial areas. Each stick is electrically proof tested. Retests are required every two years and must pass 75kV per foot in compliance with ASTM F-711 standard specifications.
Protect workers from low voltage electrical hazards with insulating materials on a roll. Made from a high stretch fabric reinforced Type II rubber, it is puncture and tear resistant, flame self-extinguishing, oil and ozone resistant, flexible to -40°F, and meets ASTM F2320 standards. No annual retests are required; sections that have been worn or damaged should be discarded.
Insulated access door keys for transit buses are available in male and female configurations, in 4 inch and 7 inch lengths, made in the USA, rated to 1000 VAC / 1500 VDC, and tested to 10,000 VAC. Steering wheel covers are designed for standard 40 foot transit bus steering wheels in 18 inch, 20 inch, and 22 inch sizes and remind staff not to operate vehicles during high voltage activity. Class 0 glove sizing kits and 8 cal/cm2 and 12 cal/cm2 coverall sizing kits are also available.
